Thursday night after the game, Bryan took Kaden and I home. He had no idea that I had been plotting with my mom all day to get ready to give him his birthday gifts. He needed to know what was happening a little before hand in order to pull it all off! When we got to my house I told him he better brace himself because we sure do love a birthday!
I raced around to do some last minute things and then the surprising began! I bought tickets for us to go see Linkin Park! Party! Along with those I thought he needed some of the fun pictures that we've been taking. So thanks so my amazing mom, they were all framed and ready to gift! My parents got him epic work gloves (gotta love orange camo!), a Green Bay shirt and Champion hat, and a Linkin Park shirt for the concert! Kaden gave him a Perry the Platypus shirt with another picture of the three of us. Needless to say, we were having quite the party!
Moving onto the actual Birthday... :)
I have to say that I take the birthday thing very seriously! I love, love, love my birthday and I love it even more to celebrate the birthday's of people I love! So Bryan had a day full with us! I made him German Pancake for breakfast and we spent the morning into afternoon playing Mario Kart! It was a blast!
This is the German Pancake all ready to eat! So yummy!
Kaden was pretty excited about the breakfast!
Then it was time to get ready for some more fun! Because of the looming storm, I decided it would be a good idea to take the train down to SLC. I didn't want to worry about driving and Bryan couldn't know all of the surprises! We had a great time chatting and laughing as we made our way down!
Once we were in the city, we headed to the Old Spaghetti Factory to eat. We both just happen to love it, so it was a must! After a yummy dinner, it was concert time! I must admit, I was more excited that Bryan was so excited about going. But as soon as the show got started, I realized just how many songs I knew! We ended up having a seriously amazing night!
Here are some pictures of the show! Linkin Park was beyond amazing! It was one of the best shows I've been to and I had the best company ever!
After the concert, we hurried right along to catch the train home. It was such a pleasant night in the city that we were sure the storm warning had been wrong! How lucky were we?! We strolled back to the train and had a fascinating time on the way home. Around the Layton area, I noticed that it had started snowing. Well... by the time we were back in Roy, it was a full blown blizzard!
