The Car ride there... Always such entertaining pictures! I Love that Kade set up a bunny tight rope. It was great!
Such a focused driver :)
Fast forward 8 1/2 hours and we're in Colorado! Woo! We got to stay at Bryan's aunt's house :) Marlynn was so awesome to have us and we had a great time visiting with her.
Kade got to sleep on a comfy bed and he loved it!
Saturday was our big day! We got to go into Denver and see some seriously awesome sights. I was amazed at how beautiful it was! Never having been there, I wasn't quite sure what to expect. Here are some shots of the city.
We stopped off at the Pepsi Center before starting our trip over to the Aquarium. It was pretty cool to go in and look around before the crowds showed up.
This is a really cool poster outside on the Pepsi Center. :)
After checking out the Pepsi Center, we went over to the Aquarium! The only aquarium that Kade and I have been to is the one in San Francisco. Bryan has been to a few. Lucky guy :) The San Fran one was so awesome and Kaden totally loved it so I figured it would be a good way to spend our day. As it turned out, I was right :)
Headed up into the Aquarium!
My Little Diver :)
Kade got to take his own camera on the trip... He LOVED that!
The Otter's were hilarious! One of them was doing a continuous back-flip for 5 minutes straight!
CHEESE!
This was a flash flood simulation. It was so cool! We stood back out of the "wet zone" and it was for good reason! The water rose so quickly that it was splashing everywhere!
Monkeys... All the way around! :)
Why, Yes! This is a Tiger in an Aquarium. Crazy Huh?!
Kaden waiting for a Stingray to swim by!
Kade thought this was fantastic! Two real life Mermaids!
After the Aquarium we grabbed some lunch in their fancy restaurant. It was a really cool atmosphere and we enjoyed it! If you can even imagine, our day wasn't even close to being over yet. We drove around for little bit so Kade could get some rest. He had a rough night and an hour long cat nap was in order! We drove over to a cool section of town called Laramier Square. It was a pretty cool place to walk around! When Kade woke up, we found a candy and soda shop. It was a super cute place!
Kade really liked the tiny carts in the store :)
This was on a building in Laramier Square :)
After looking around for a bit, we headed over to the stadium we wanted to make it in time to get good parking, and see the players warm up. It was a great experience to see it all!
Kade was more than excited :)
Take note: This is the picture I will be referring to in a moment... the face I mention is in the photo above :)
This is Matt Duchene. I LOVE him! During the All Star Draft he compared it to the Bachelor! Instant Love :) Now... This is the face that Mr. Duchene pulled as my little boy cheered him on! If my camera would've snapped a half a second faster, I would've caught him looking right at Kaden! It was the coolest thing!!
This is Luango. I Loathe him and his team. However, I'm sure they will all end up in the Hall of Fame and I have seen them play. Kind of cool!
