I don't even know... Ha :)
We may have had a little time on our hands... We only showed up over an hour early :)
Yay for the Welcoming Committee!
This is my FAVORITE picture of them all. I accidently took this picture anticipating Jaden's arrival and it was my last one. How does that even happen?!
In between all our crazy, I found some super cute projects to do with Kaden. This was one I liked :)
Perfect job to keep him focused for a while...
We gave Jaden a few days to chill out, but it certainly didn't last for long. With the upcoming wedding, we had plenty to do and just a few weeks to get it done. The next big event that came our way was a super fun Bridal Shower for Courtni. We had such an excellent time at the shower and Courtni got some way fun stuff :)
The beautiful quilt that we tied for Justin & Courtni :)
It was such a fun shower! And it was on Easter Eve! So we had some more celebrating to do that day :) We went out for a family dinner at my favorite place... Tony's! It was fun to sit and chat with everyone! From there we headed out to color some eggs for the Bunny! :)
Easter Sunday was quite the day for us! Not only did we get to celebrate Easter, but it was Jaden's homecoming as well. So we were up bright and early! We had to hunt for eggs, and make it out to my parent's by 10. Needless to say, it was a crazy morning :) But it certainly was a good one!
After Kaden's awesome egg hunt, we headed out to hear Jaden speak. He gave a great talk and we had a fabulous family party after. There had been an idea thrown out that we should have an egg hunt for the kids while they were all together. The older cousins headed to the park to do some hiding and the younger one's went down shortly after for some fun!
Kaden had a fabulous time hunting for eggs. It was certainly an awesome weekend for our family!
A few weekends later, Bryan and I had the opportunity to head up to the Logan Temple to be with Courtni as she went through for the first time. It was a very awesome experience and I'm so glad that we were able to go. My mom managed to grab a few pictures on here phone and I'm very glad she did :)
I'm so grateful for the temple and the opportunity I had to be there with the majority of my family. It was such a fabulous evening! I'm glad we got to attend at the Logan Temple. It was my first time going there and I really enjoyed it!
The weekend that we got to go to the temple, Kaden and I had been quite ill. I had taken Kaden to the Dr. on Friday with the suspicion of ear infections just to find out that the Dr thought it was strep. Well, I didn't know what was going on, just that Kade was miserable and had a VERY high fever. He was at 103 when we were at the dr office and that was with medication. After a few days, he started feeling better and I started feeling worse. Blah! It was horrible! I'm so lucky to have Bryan for a husband. He stepped up and took over everything. He did such a great job! he even had to deal with kid barf... for the first time... as I was flat out on the couch dying a little. He seriously is amazing and I couldn't ask for a better husband! Even though we still weren't up for it, Kade and I headed off to Dinosaur Park for a school field trip. We were both a bit under the weather and not really feeling it, but things happen and we made it out alive :)
Kaden and his friends from school! Dallin, Sam and Joshua :)
Checking out some "real" Dinosaur skin :)
Notice the change of outfit... We did this two days in a row :)
I don't even know when this picture was taken, but I absolutely LOVE it! So I thought I'd throw it in :)
The last Big event of April was Courtni's Bachelorette Party! We decided to head down to City Creek for shopping and dinner. It was super fun!
We ate a yummy dinner at Kneaders and had lots of fun looking around at all the different stores. I will for sure be making a return to City Creek :)
After a very busy April, we started May. But we'll save that for the next post! :)
